Old paint, peeling DIY kits, cracks and pitted concrete all fail the same way: the coating has nothing solid to hold onto. Restoration starts by grinding away failed coatings and contaminants with diamond tooling to open up fresh, sound concrete.
From there we repair cracks and spalls, level problem areas and finish the slab with the system that fits how you use it, from an economical grind and seal to a full flake, quartz or metallic coating.
4. Grind and Seal
- A grind and seal floor service is a great system for concrete when you need an economical solution that will eliminate concrete dusting and seal the floor to make it easier to clean and resist stains.
- This system is not for facilities / floors that require the highest level of chemical resistance to things like acetone, gasoline, and heavy degreasers / cleaners. However, in testing, it showed impressive “no affect” results when exposed to ketchup, grape juice, vinegar, soy sauce, wine, cough syrup, and 409 cleaner, and even hot tires from vehicles.
